TRUE FAMILY

Text: Ephesians 2:19; 4:16; Romans 8:17

Every one generally desires to belongs to respectable and dignified family. No one wants to belong to a family which brings pity and shame. A good family would usually have the following qualities.

1. The TRUE FAMILY is made up of people who have a common link binding them together. They love and enjoy the company of one another.

2. In the TRUE FAMILY, adequate care is give a to each member, particularly in times of need and difficulty. They  to solve each other’s problems.

3. Each member of the TRUE FAMILY is free to express his view about any matter. He is not tagged as critic or fanatical for speaking his mind. Each one’s opinion is respected and considered.

4. Each member sees the FAMILY as a REFUGE— a place of abode and comfort in times of loneliness, poor treatment from friends, or other problems.

5. Members of the TRUE FAMILY have freedom to express themselves without fear or being

misinterpreted by other members.

6. If a member of the TRUE FAMILY misses his way, the others search him out until he is found and brought back home.

7. Members of the TRUE FAMILY seek to help one another to live well and enjoy peace with God.

This is the picture of the family and Church of the living God, to which all true believers belong. The Deeper Life Bible Church provides opportunity for all young converts to grow within her fold as a family. Special programmes in the Church include: Youth/Adult Bible Study,

Adult/Youth Search Scriptures, and Home caring Fellowship (HCF) and Youth Home Success

Fellowship (YHSF). These activities and others are meant to help us grow and enjoy our Christian life.
